We at SPH Engineering are happy to announce the new UgCS release, which brings crucial updates aligned with the upcoming regulations in 2024, setting a new standard for safety and transparency in drone operations.

What's New

Added Remote ID support for Ardu and PX4 drones

Remote ID will be an essential change in drone operations in 2024. The overall benefit it brings is higher security and transparency of drone operations, allowing society members and authorities to keep track of drones flying in the airspace near them and to make drone operations more transparent.

How it works

• When a new RID-enabled Ardu or PX4 drone is connected, log window will display a message allowing to open RID configuration window. The configuration is saved and can later be accessed through the Main Menu.

• Drone card will display a new RID indicator in red (not ready to arm) or green (ready to arm)

Default Settings for IMU

In LiDAR Area and LiDAR Corridor segments 'IMU calibration' option is now disabled by default. It should be enabled when flying with DJI L1 or L2 sensors.
